Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in innovative industrial solutions, is seeking a dedicated Production Project Manager to join their team. As a Production Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Project Manager

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000

Shift:

What's the Job?

  • Lead production projects from concept, industrialization, or change request through full implementation
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate all project phases: design transfer, pilot builds, ramp-up, and steady-state production
  • Act as the main point of contact between production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and leadership
  • Track project schedules and resource utilization, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans

What's Needed?

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • Strong understanding of production processes, industrialization, and operational workflows
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously
