As A Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Support development and resolution of complex mechanical designs and technical issues across MR programs under direction of engineering leadership.

  • Participate in technical design reviews, trade studies, and feasibility assessments at the component and subsystem level.

  • Execute mechanical design and analysis activities, including structural, thermal, and functional simulations of components and subsystems.

  • Ensure mechanical designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, safety, cost, manufacturability, and serviceability in a regulated medical environment.

  • Translate system and subsystem requirements into detailed mechanical designs and supporting documentation.

  • Support costreduction and designtovalue efforts, including redesign of highcost components and subsystems as assigned.

  • Identify potential technical risks and support mitigation actions in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.

  • Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support technical evaluations, issue resolution, and design readiness.

  • Contribute to reuse, standardization, and common technology initiatives across the MR product portfolio

Qualifications;

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and verification of structures, mechanisms, or assemblies in a medical or regulated product environment.

  • Knowledge of mechanical design practices, materials, and fabrication methods.

  • Working knowledge of system-level mechanical integration.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Waukesha, WI.

  • Experience using Creo or similar mechanical CAD tools.

  • Background in plastics design, electronics packaging, and cable design/management.

  • Experience with structural and/or thermal simulation and analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, and measurement tools

Salary Range: $85k- $95k
