Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support asset reliability and maintenance optimization across power generation assets (GT, HRSG, BOP, BESS) and water assets (wastewater treatment, effluent recovery, NEWater)
  • Perform reliability analysis (data analysis, RCA, FMEA) to identify failure modes, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze equipment performance, failure history, and plant data (including predictive monitoring tools) to detect degradation trends and prevent failures
  • Support development and optimization of maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)
  • Track and report reliability KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, availability, OEE) and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to reliability and performance improvement projects to enhance plant availability, reduce forced outages, and optimize cost
  • Support implementation and enhancement of digital reliability tools and data-driven monitoring systems for predictive asset maintenance (PAM)
  • Assist in developing and maintaining reliability-related procedures, SOPs, and workflows
  • Provide reliability engineering support for ongoing operations, maintenance activities, and new plant/system modifications
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Digital teams to implement reliability initiatives

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or plant engineering (power/utilities/process industry preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of thermal plant systems (GT, HRSG, BOP; BESS is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with reliability methodologies (RCA, FMEA, RCM) and maintenance strategies
  • Ability to analyze plant and equipment data for performance and reliability improvement
  • Exposure to digital tools, condition monitoring, or predictive maintenance systems is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable in a plant environment
