The Senior Project Coordinator supports the execution of medium-scale projects by coordinating activities under the direction of a Project Manager or Program Lead. May lead specific workstreams or sub-projects with clearly defined scope and oversight by coordinating project activities, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with business and technology goals. This role supports both traditional (waterfall) and agile (iterative) delivery models, facilitating planning, execution, and delivery across cross-functional teams. In an agile environment, the Senior Project Coordinator plays a key role in planning, Standups, and managing dependencies. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support project leaders and ensure successful outcomes.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead and coordinate medium-scale projects and contribute to large-scale initiatives under the direction of project or team leaders.
  • Facilitate project start-up activities, including requirements gathering, resource onboarding, and project documentation.
  • Monitor, track, and report progress against project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
  • Monitors and documents project risks and issues and facilitates resolution efforts in collaboration with the Project Manager. Escalates unresolved or high-impact risks appropriately
  • Support and coordinate SAFe activities such as PI planning, Standup, and status reporting.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment across agile and waterfall workstreams.
  • Assist in the development and execution of testing strategies, including defect tracking and resolution.
  • Prepares and maintains project dashboards and reports to support project tracking and decision-making by project leadership.

Position Requirements:
What Experience You Need :
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • One to Two years of Project Coordination experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Comfort working in matrixed, cross functional environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe practices and enterprise delivery tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira).
What Could Set You Apart:
  • Project Management certification (PMP, SAFe and/or Company Specific Certifications) preferred within 2 years.
  • Previous leadership experience.
