Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (Columbia, MD) is seeking a Staff Wireless Solutions Engineer: Perform as the subject-matter expert and leading technical consultant for wireless protocol testing supporting customer R D labs; act as the R&S representative and consultant to customers creating test plans and test methods for 4G/5G wireless protocol technologies; develop, integrate and support wireless protocol test cases; review 3GPP Protocol Specifications; support customers on site, mostly in USA but occasionally in Asia or Europe as per project demands; and act as a member of the global Application Engineering team, actively contribute with ideas on product and process improvements.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a related Engineering field, and 3 years experience in the job offered or any related occupation, to include 3 years experience working with cellular network test and measurement ecosystems; 3 years experience working with OEMs, Chipset Vendors & Test Equipment Vendors; 3 years experience working with network diagrams, design specifications, and troubleshooting guides; and 3 years experience in creating Test Scripts and Automation solutions. Employee will be required to travel 10% of the time on international and domestic trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Remote work from anyw in the U.S. is permitted.
