Job Description
Technical/ Engineering Specialist
65 year old manufacturing company in Burlington VT is looking for a full-time Technical Specialist responsible for control panel design and build, reverse engineering of existing product line, and machine assembly. Successful applicant will work closely with product, application, and manufacturing process and sales team.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding how to read schematics, wiring control panels and experience using hand tools
Such as circuit breakers, relays, PLC components
Familiarity with Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into control panels
- Troubleshoots wiring issues and assist with testing and machine assembly
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mathematical skills
- Technical aptitude in all aspect of manufacturing process
