  • Seeking a seasoned professional with 5 years of proven track record in PMO or Program/Portfolio Management within the Technology, Banking, or Consultancy industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish best practices in alignment with the companys Technology Program and Project Manual.
  • Educate and support a team of PMs to ensure delivery of projects in accordance with the companys SDLC procedures, including regulatory and compliance mandates.
  • Oversee project/program coordination for several areas within the Finance and Risk Technology portfolio.
  • Assist technology leads and project managers in managing a portfolio of programs and projects.
  • Manage several project metrics and associated KPIs periodically.
  • Enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the group.
  • Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures.
  • Update and improve project methodologies, provide mentoring and training to other PMs, and act as an SME.
  • Organize and facilitate closure of projects and complete benefit analysis at the end of the project.
  • Manage release cycles, write/review project documentation, and ensure project/program administration tasks are completed.
  • Liaise with a range of teams from Technology Business Enablement, Technology Leads, and Management Office team, providing insightful financial and business analyses and developing management reports.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of overall experience, with at least years in a large enterprise IT PMO environment in a people/team management role.
  • Banking/Financial services experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in STEM subjects.
  • PMP certified or equivalent certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist Certification).
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting and documentation, including dashboards, scorecards, and analysis of KPIs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate issues, risks, and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to self-initiate, work productively unsupervised, and multitask across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Confidence and ability to convincingly structure, summarize, defend, and present recommendations.
