Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

The Commercial Group at Amphenol is currently seeking a Field ApplicationsEngineer to support large Enterprise and Consumer Company.

Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enablerfor all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. The Company designs, manufactures andmarkets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, coaxial andflat-ribbon cable, and interconnect systems. The primary end markets for theCompany's products are communications and information processing. Includingcable television, cellular telephone and data communication, storage, andinformation processing systems; aerospace and military electronics; andautomotive, rail and other transportation and industrial applications.

The FAE engineering team interfaces with customers, internal productdevelopment, product marketing, and the extended sales team toprovide world-class interconnect solutions to our customers.

Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of thesales cycle; discovery, design, prototyping, and productionProviding technical marketing support for the development and designin of Products, including internal/external power, memory, storage, andinternal IOPrepare and participate in delivering technical presentations to thecustomerDevelop customer-facing material that is application specificProvide customer support for all technical inquiries; provide productsolutions to address customer concernsHelp devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from ourcompetitorsMeet and exceed strategic objectivesSome travel will be required to other customer or Amphenol locations in theUS or Taiwan.

Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or other technicalequivalentElectrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Preferred2+ years' experience in Design or Applications Engineering of electricalhardware components/ interconnect solutions industryExperience providing product marketing and technical support to producedesign wins

Skills:

Proficient in communicating across organizational hierarchiesHigh level of customer service, ability to build rapport with customersProficient use of modeling tools such as Creo or Solid Works.Strong organizational and presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)Strong Program/Project Management
