The Level 3 Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the definition, development, integration, verification,
and validation of complex aerospace and defense systems. Working within multidisciplinary teams,
the engineer ensures that system requirements are met, interfaces are properly managed, and performance,
reliability, and cost objectives are achieved throughout the product lifecycle.Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of systems engineering experience on aerospace/defense programs. Demonstrated proficiency with systems engineering processes and tools (e.g., MBSE, requirement management tools such as DOORS/Doors Next, modeling tools). |
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of system architecture, integration, and verification.
Ability to develop and manage requirements, ICDs, and test plans.
Familiarity with modelbased development, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent. Understanding of relevant standards (e.g., DO178C, DO254, ARP4754A).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication both written and verbal. Ability to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Proven problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and mentor junior staff.
Security: No Clearance Required to Start. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (Must be a US citizen).
Ability to work in typical office environment; occasional access to secure labs or test facilities.
Up to 25% travel for customer visits, program reviews, and test events (may require overnight stays).Masters degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with modelbased systems engineering (SysML) and VModel lifecycle.
Prior experience on Lockheed Martin or other prime defense contractor programs.
Certification such as INCOSE CSEP or PMP.
