Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including structures, mechanisms, material properties & selection, and analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical design/or manufacturing, including interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience with CAD tools (CREO, Solid works, etc...) and experience with model-based definition.
- Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards and its application in design and drafting.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance. US Citizenship required.- Working knowledge of industry standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, AIAA, and AWS standards applicable to mechanical and structural systems.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional, multidisciplinary product development teams.
- Current US Security Clearance.
