You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer (GPS M-Code IPT Lead) for LockheedMartin Missile & Fire Control programs. Our team designs, evaluates, and qualifies circuit cards and test hardware that keep mission critical systems operating reliably in harsh, radiation rich environments such as space based platforms.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Circuit Card Design Engineer (GPS M-Code IPT Lead) you will drive the architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for complex circuit cards. You will work side by side with cross functional engineers to accelerate design, procurement, and testing while shepherding every design through the Design Assurance process. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting development of a control module design.
Defining, refining, and documenting system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements.
Conducting trade studies to evaluate design options and recommending optimal implementations.
Capturing schematics and collaborating with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions.
Owning end to end circuit card designs and delivering all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews.
Working with systems, electro mechanical, programmable logic/software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing
Generating and maintaining including architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports.
Managing bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build up activities.
Verifying design compliance with shock, vibration, and other environmental qualification standards.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A Secret clearance is required to start.

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related field); M.S. preferred
Proven track record delivering missile grade or aerospace electronic hardware from concept to flight.
Prior experience as a responsible product engineer or technical lead.
Already holds a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret minimum). 10+ years of professional EE experience
Experience with BAE Systems Navstorm M or similar GPS/INS systems.
Familiarity with hypersonic vehicle design
Prior involvement in flight test campaigns and post flight data analysis.
Experience performing specification/requirement development and documentation
Familiar with electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and electronics modeling/simulation tools such as SPICE.
Familiar with design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.
Familiar with electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis (eWCA), electrical parts stress analysis, failure modes and effects critical analysis).
Experience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
Strong communication skills, and experience presenting to peers, leadership, and/or customers
Must be adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.
Experienced at leading teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues
Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics in tools such as Zuken
Experience in modeling and analysis tools such as OrCAD Pspice and/or Saber
