Sentara Health Plan is currently hiring a Sr Process Improvement Engineer/ LSSGB for the Health Plan - Remote!

Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

Work hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F

Location: Remote are opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Overview

Responsible for identifying , analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Uses data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements.

Education

• Bach el or s degree REQUIRED

• Masters degree preferred

Certification/License:

• Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt (LSSBB) highly preferred

Experience

• 5 years of p rocess improvement or healthcare management REQUIRED

• Health plan experience highly preferred
