LockheedMartin is seeking a mechanical engineer to aid in structural design activities for a next generation space craft program. Design support is needed through preliminary design review (PDR), critical design review (CDR), and hardware production activity. The incumbent will assist in the development of the baseline design package, perform trade studies, and ensure a seamless transition of engineering data, requirements, and documentation into the detailed design phase and into production.- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related technical field) or equivalent experience/combined education

- Familiarity with mechanical design using CREO or equivalent to develop 3D models and drawings

- Familiarity with Basic GD&T

- Demonstrated aptitude to work with multi-disciplinary engineers to develop mechanical designs

- US Citizen required with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Poly, no clearance required to start.- Experience generating and delivering presentation content

- Familiarity with design for manufacturability for aerospace hardware

- Proficiency with Basic GD&T

- Familiarity with tolerance analysis
