Test Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Test Engineer 1 to join their innovative team. As a Test Engineer 1, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and verification of advanced microprocessor designs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Define and implement comprehensive test plans for microprocessor verification.
• Develop System Verilog / UVM based unit level test benches, including stimulus, checkers, monitors, and assertions.
• Analyze and debug regression failures to ensure robust design verification.
• Develop and analyze functional coverage on North Bridge / Data Fabric Design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and ensure quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; Masters degree with 2+ years of experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in functional verification of microprocessor designs.
• Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, UVM, and programming languages such as Perl & C/C++.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and simulation modeling.
• Experience with assertion-based design strategies, code coverage, and functional coverage is advantageous.
