Cybersecurity Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead highly visible cybersecurity initiatives supporting enterprise security programs across: Privileged Access Management (PAM) Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Identity Authentication & Authorization (IAA) Data Protection (DP) This role will focus on driving mission-critical cybersecurity projects within a large enterprise financial services environment while partnering closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Core Responsibilities Lead global technical and non-technical teams on cybersecurity initiatives Drive project execution, timelines, deliverables, and overall program success Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define goals and expected outcomes Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations Develop project schedules, resource planning, and effort estimates Coordinate multiple cybersecurity projects simultaneously Prepare executive-level project status reports and documentation Maintain project repositories and ensure process compliance Facilitate stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration Support project scope management and change control processes Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and spend optimization Assist with annual financial planning activities Manage project staffing and resource allocation Foster a collaborative and delivery-focused environment Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 10+ years of overall professional experience 5+ years leading enterprise technology or cybersecurity projects Experience within Financial Services environments Strong background managing cybersecurity initiatives related to: PAM, IGA, IAA, Data Protection, Security Operations, and Attack Surface Management Experience working within matrixed enterprise organizations Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience managing multiple high-priority deliverables simultaneously Experience managing project budgets between $250K - $3M Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies Experience with demand and capacity management Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) MBA or advanced degree PMP Certification Experience supporting enterprise IAM initiatives Cybersecurity governance or risk management exposure Experience within large enterprise or banking environments Experience working with globally distributed teams Key Competencies & Behaviors Cybersecurity Project Delivery Identity & Access Management Programs Risk & Change Management Financial & Budget Management Stakeholder Communication Cross-Functional Leadership Strategic Planning & Coordination Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Delivery & Execution Focus Work Environment Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid schedule with onsite collaboration Tuesday - Thursday Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
