About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, battle-tested Senior Healthcare Project Manager with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system implementations and optimizations.

This is not a passive tracking role. You will be operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment where you must hold team members accountable to deadlines while seamlessly managing relationships with C-Suite executives.

Key Responsibilities

• EMR Governance & Execution: Lead end-to-end implementation, migration, and optimization of EMR systems, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Driving Accountability: Actively keep cross-functional teams, clinicians, and external vendors on task, removing roadblocks aggressively to maintain project momentum.
• C-Suite Advisory: Act as the primary point of contact for executive leadership; confidently present high-level strategy, manage expectations, and deliver transparent risk assessments to C-level stakeholders.
• Remote Team Mastery: Foster a highly collaborative, transparent, and productive environment across a fully distributed, remote project team.
• Risk & Crisis Management: Navigate high-pressure situations, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities with a calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Position Requirements

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master’s or PMP certification is highly preferred).
• 7+ years of dedicated Project Management experience, specifically within the healthcare sector.
• Deep EMR Expertise: Proven track record of managing extensive EMR/EHR system rollouts (e.g., Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or specialized medical platforms ).

Crucial Competencies

• Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence, negotiate with, and present to C-level executives.
• Assertive Task Management: A demonstrated knack for keeping teams disciplined and focused without damaging professional relationships.
• Remote Autonomy: Highly disciplined and effective at working independently in a 100% remote capacity, utilizing modern project management tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience or familiarity within the Personal Injury legal/medical ecosystem is a strong plus.

Travel & Logistics

• Work Location: 100% Remote.
• Travel: Occasional, fully-reimbursed travel to Las Vegas, NV or Sarasota, FL for executive alignment meetings and critical project kick-offs (approximately 10–15%).
