Process Engineer

Process Engineer (P&IDs / Water Systems) - Contract-to-Hire

I'm working with an engineering team that's focused on advanced water and ultrapure water systems-supporting projects that directly impact how critical industries manage and optimize water use.

They're looking for a senior-level Process Engineer who can own P&IDs and process design from concept through startup. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive mass balances, system sizing, and full process design for complex treatment and purification systems.

What you'd be doing:

• Lead process design + P&IDs for water/UPW systems
• Develop PFDs, mass balances, and process calculations
• Size and select equipment (RO, IX/EDI, filtration, etc.)
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and controls teams
• Support technical discussions, vendor selection, and system startup

What stands out:

• Strong ownership of complex process design work
• Experience in water treatment, UPW, or similar process industries
• Experience working with P&IDs, system sizing, and design tools

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with exposure to high-impact projects and room to take real ownership of engineering decisions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
