Job Title: Electro-Mechanical TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. This mid-level role involves working on various project activities, including tool qualifications, safety sign-offs, validation results reviews, tool documentation updates, and project support. This position requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical fundamentals and the ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Perform tool qualifications by verifying tool construction against prints, measuring components, and confirming electrical characteristics such as voltages and currents.

Verify tool performance to ensure it functions as intended and document results accurately.

Execute safety sign-offs by completing checklists and obtaining necessary signatures.

Understand and interpret validation testing results, using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation to support troubleshooting.

Assist in isolating root causes for tool or system failures identified during qualification and collaborate with engineering to escalate and resolve issues.

Review test results and obtain required approvals.

Update and release tool documentation, including schematics and manuals, and manage engineering change notices.

Support project planning by scheduling meetings, identifying and requesting parts for qualification, and coordinating timing for completion.

Document work and communicate effectively with internal resources.

Essential Skills

2-8 years of experience in electro-mechanical or technician roles.

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical fundamentals.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Proficiency with measurement and test equipment such as multimeters, calipers, and oscilloscopes.

Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical currents, voltages, and outputs.

Proactive, safety-minded approach with the ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with pneumatics, PLCs, or vision systems.

Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

3D modeling or advanced CAD experience.

Understanding of manufacturing equipment safety requirements.

Previous experience with tooling or high-volume tool qualification.

This is a Permanent position based out of Alburtis, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
