Top Secret Warhead Systems Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Warhead Systems Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base supporting a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will support the Lead Project Office that serves as a key integrator across the DOW, DOE, and various other stakeholders of entities being integrated into the re-entry vehicle being delivered. This individual will be the primary requirements producer for the warhead and its integration into the reentry vehicle. They will work across several stakeholders across the DOE and DOW to draft, collaborate, and validate these requirements. They will be the technical eye reviewing warhead, reentry vehicle designs, ensuring they are compatible and built to survive and perform in the harshest environments imaginable. Additionally, they will help establish and navigate the configuration management process, maintaining a "single source of truth" for change control across multiple entities and secure networks.

Pay Range: $60-80/hr

Pay range based on applicable experience.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

7-12+ years of experience within the following (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)

-Experience within Systems Engineering in the DoW or DoE

-Led requirements definition with end-to-end traceability and documented rationale

-Experience with integrated requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables with system engineering principles

-Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams to drive alignment on a clear path forward

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

-Active Secret Clearance + TS and SAP eligible

-Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily (located in Clearfield, UT) Plusses:

• Any ICBM or RS/RV experience

• Any MBSE or Digital Engineering experience (DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, etc.)

• Experience with DOE or any National Laboratory (Energy or Nuclear)

• Master's Degree

• Active TS or TSSCI Clearance

• Previous SAP Clearance
