Description
Boston University is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to support observational studies and upcoming interventional clinical trials. The role involves collecting clinical data from participants ages 1885 through in-person and telephone visits while ensuring study compliance and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support clinical research studies and trials
Work with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to develop and update study protocols
Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with study personnel, sponsors, and Boston Medical Center staff
Schedule and coordinate participant study visits
Obtain informed consent and facilitate biological sample collection and delivery
Conduct participant questionnaires and interviews
Maintain accurate study records and databases
Enter and manage data using REDCap
Oversee participant reimbursement processes
Support regulatory compliance and study documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
13 years of related experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with data entry and management systems
Ability to work MondayFriday, 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility as needed
Preferred
Prior clinical research or project coordination experience
Students enrolled in Boston University School of Public Health master's programs are encouraged to apply
Compensation
Salary Range: $17.50 - $28.03 per hour
Final salary determined by qualifications, experience, education, training, and internal equity considerations
