For a First Fashion Streetwear heavy graphic woven & Knits Mfg. Hang with South Pole, Rebel, YJM Apparel Group. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Design Development Manager to join our fast-paced NYC team. This role serves as the critical bridge between Design, Technical Design, Vendors, and Productionensuring products are developed accurately, efficiently, and production-ready from concept through final hand-off. The ideal candidate combines a strong design eye with technical product development knowledge and thrives in a fast-moving apparel environment. This person will play a key role in maintaining product integrity, ensuring tech pack accuracy, resolving development issues proactively, and helping bring commercially successful products to market. How You'll Contribute Review tech packs for accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with customer requirements prior to development and production release. Partner closely with Design and Production teams to manage comments, approvals, and revisions throughout development. Identify and resolve issues related to construction, fit, measurements, materials, trims, artwork, Pantones, and production execution. Communicate daily with factories, vendors, and suppliers to track development progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time execution. Oversee sample management across all stages including proto, fit, salesman, PP, and TOP samples. Maintain organized approval records, development calendars, and workflow tracking systems. Support style adds, drops, and revisions while ensuring clean and accurate hand-offs to Production. Help improve operational processes, development consistency, and cross-functional communication. What You Bring to the Table 4-7 years of experience in apparel product development, technical design, or production management. Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, trims, and manufacturing processes. Ability to identify potential development and production issues before sampling or production. Experience reviewing and managing tech packs in a fast-paced apparel environment. Strong PLM, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator skills. Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to balance creative vision
