Key Responsibilities Lead project teams in delivering comprehensive, accurate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections Collaborate across disciplines with internal teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and agencies to achieve project goals Contribute to all phases of project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction administration Integrate sustainable design strategies into project solutions Ensure clear, timely communication between clients and project teams Manage projects using internal systems, including developing work plans and overseeing budgets, schedules, and fees Support business development efforts, including proposals, letters of interest (LOIs), and market research Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle Engage with industry events, conferences, and community activities to expand professional networks Contribute to office initiatives, professional development programs, and mentorship of junior staff Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture Registered Architect (Illinois preferred); NCARB certification a plus 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in project management Experience working across multiple sectors (Education, Commercial, Transit, Municipal, Industrial preferred) Proven success developing new business and maintaining client relationships Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Demonstrated construction administration experience (RFIs, submittals, contractor coordination, construction contracts) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp , and other modeling/rendering tools Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to quality Why Join?
