Title: Staff Engineer, Electrification - 121018 Onsite/Remote:Remote Position This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. Develop thermal management system strategy for electrified applications with a focus on Architecture, Controls, and Simulation Define performance requirements for the JDEP Thermal Module portfolio Conduct transient thermal analysis to optimize thermal management systems for electrified applications Own the thermal system analysis process and toolset in MATLAB Simulink Mentor vehicle groups on the adaptation and integration of thermal systems into applications Collaborate with JDEP Battery Module to develop new battery thermal systems 5 or more years of vehicle thermal system design or test 5 or more years of thermal system analysis (model development and correlation to field data) 5 or more years of refrigerant system design or test 1 to 3 or more years of controls development or integration Expert user of MATLAB Simulink Experience with battery thermal management systems Experience with construction, agricultural and roadbuilding products and duty cycles Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: B.S. in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
