Summary: The Senior Technical Project Manager leads and supports complex, enterprise-level data engineering and AI adoption initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, and successful delivery of moderate to highly complex technical projects across data, analytics, and cloud platforms. The position works closely with a Technical Project Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment between business, engineering, and AI teams. The individual operates with a high degree of independence, leveraging deep experience and judgment to accomplish project goals while managing competing priorities. A proactive leadership approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences are critical to success.Responsibilities: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex data engineering and AI-related projects. Define and manage project scope, milestones, timelines, success metrics, and deliverables. Support technical project leadership for data engineering, cloud, and AI adoption programs. Facilitate requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional/technical specifications development. Manage cross-functional coordination between business, engineering, data, and AI stakeholders. Track project deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies. Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and financial reporting. Ensure alignment of deliverables with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Drive Agile or hybrid SDLC processes, including sprint planning, execution, and reporting. Communicate project updates, risks, and status to stakeholders including executive leadership. Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts on platform and pipeline initiatives. Ensure proper documentation of project artifacts including charters, schedules, and lessons learned. Facilitate vendor and stakeholder management across complex enterprise environments. Support adoption of cloud technologies, data pipelines, and AI/ML-driven initiatives.
