Serving as a prime consultant to top management on RF capture strategy, technical baselines, and investment prioritization with material impact on design/selling success, financial posture, and product portfolio decisions
Personally leading the most technically demanding RF design, architecture, and analysis problemsfrom concept and trade-space exploration through fielding
Driving RF system-of-systems architectures and multi-domain integration (EW, SIGINT, communications, RADAR), including next-generation multi-function aperture and contested-spectrum solutions
Owning competitive capture leadership for major RF efforts, including technical volume authorship, BOE development, and competitive technical strategy on programs
Representing RF Engineering to senior customer executives, external technical communities, and corporate technical leadership; influencing technical strategy at the business-area, sector, or corporate level
Establishing and evolving engineering processes, standards, and tools that measurably improve organizational RF capability
Mentoring staff-, senior-staff-, and emerging-principal-level RF engineers; identifying and developing future technical leaders
Leading or contributing to cross-Business Area and cross-corporate technical initiatives (e.g., Engineering Technical Council, Communities of Practice, Technical Fellow programs)
Driving advancement of the state of the art through patent disclosures, peer-reviewed publications, and professional society leadership (e.g., IEEE MTT-S, AP-S, AESS)
This position offers the opportunity to set the long-term technical direction of RF engineering at MFC and to shape the workforce and technical capability for the next decade of mission needs.
Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
