Supervisory Engineering Technician

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain DoD Workforce positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Branch Chief, Contracting and Maintenance, Supervisory Engineering Technician, directs oversight of facility and infrastructure maintenance as well as service contract portfolio for Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Who May Apply: US Citizens

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. For the Supervisory Engineer Technician, GS-0802-13 grade level, you must meet qualifications for this position using your experience alone.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service which includes: 1) Providing surveillance and quality assurance on maintenance, construction, or service contracts and 2) Directing a quality assurance program that includes categories such as: coordinating, estimating, surveying, verifying, executing, construction, alteration, extension, modification, maintenance and repair of facilities and utility systems.

Education cannot be substituted for experience for the Supervisory Engineering Technician, GS-0802-13.
