Mechanical Engineering Intern

Were seeking a driven and creative individual to join our engineering research and development (invention) start-up company. If you have a passion for creating cool stuff, a problem-solving attitude, and thrive in organized chaos, this is the opportunity for you!

A mechanical engineering intern joining our team will be expected to:

Engineer and troubleshoot products designed and developed by TanTec following our "move fast and break things" philosophy. This isnt a desk job. We expect you to digitally and physically make things.

Take ownership of individual inventions we have in the works and push them through design, prototyping, testing, and perfecting. While you would be taking point on these projects, other engineers on our team will be on hand to give feedback and assistance, making these inventions a team effort.

In the same vein, you would be responsible for giving feedback and assistance on projects that have not explicitly been assigned to you.

Currently seeking a degree in mechanical engineering or related field
