With a global presence and expanding market, we are currently seeking dynamic Sales Engineers to join our ever growing sales Division. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our customers' needs, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and, ideally, technical expertise in manufactured equipment/machine tool sales, driving business growth through effective customer engagement and consultative sales techniques.The territory for this Sales Engineer is northwestern IL and eastern IA, but candidates should be based in IL.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the manufacturing sector.Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.Understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly to drive sales success.Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.Utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to track customer interactions and manage sales pipeline effectively.Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to provide feedback and insights from customers.Engage in territory management to maximize sales opportunities across various regions.Prepare and manage sales budgets to align with company goals and objectives.QualificationsProven experience in outside sales, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of manufactured equipment and mechanical systems. Background in CNC tooling, machinery is ideal.Experience in technical sales, demonstrating the ability to engage with clients effectively and sell consultatively.
