Engineer - Project Management (Sumner, WA) Harbor Pacific Contractors, Inc.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage field construction work, scheduling, budget, technical planning of equipment and system installation. Responsible for calibrating and testing of installed components of all plant equipment, quality, and safety. Oversee coordination and startup of process systems, overall startup, and commissioning of all plant equipment, including quality control and compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise during the construction process. Collaborate with personnel to ensure that the finished construction project aligns with the prescribed design and specifications. Administrative duties including daily reports, scheduling, cost management and change management.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Additional Requirements: Must have held a Professional Engineer (PE) Certification for at least two (2) years in any U.S. state or Canadian province.
Experience must include two (2) years with each of the following:
1.Management of Quality Program for Design and Construction.
2.Working with the Engineer-of-Record to come up with solutions as construction issues may arise.
3.Interpreting technical material test reports as part of the Quality Management Program.
4.Consolidating, reviewing, and producing Inspection Daily Reports.
5.Managing overall project schedule by collaborating with Project Scheduler using P6 Primavera scheduling software.
6.Management of Safety and Security and Quality Consultants.
7.Bluebeam Revu software to for collaborative constructability reviews and to develop sketches and drawings.
8.ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) Standards.
9.AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) Design Guidelines.
10.Structural Engineering Software platforms such as AutoCad, Response 2000 and RISA 3D.
