Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Reliability Department supporting operational excellence and asset management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Reliability Engineer
Location: Ecorse, Michigan
Pay Range: Starting from $140,000
What's the Job?
- Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats
- Analyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements
- Lead Root Cause Analysis for major failures to prevent recurrence
- Support engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operability
- Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating procedures
What's Needed?
- Hold a High School/GED diploma; a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, and piping systems
- Ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and machinery drawings confidently
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
