The Space Embedded Talent Center is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the Space Software Product Line (SSPL) and Cross LOB Departments. These departments support over 35 programs across all 5 LM Space Lines of Business. SSPL advances software products through Software Factory standards and flexible software architectures. The Cross LOB department develops and delivers software products for space, missile, and directed energy platforms. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team and support both departments in:
- Maintaining the staffing picture across multiple programs by coordinating project ramp ups/downs and staff assignments
- Acting as point of contact for Rodan Software-Performance Metric
- Coordinating cross-team training
- Managing software procurement- Degree in Systems, Software or related aerospace/defense field, or related experience
- Previous technical leadership experience, including schedule and budget responsibility
- Experience with Agile methods, processes and practices
- US Citizenship required. No clearance needed to start the role.- Previous embedded, aerospace, or spacecraft flight software leadership and/or development experience
- Previous experience as a technical lead for software teams or agile teams
- Previous CAM experience
- Previous project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with previous experience presenting to customers and/or management
- Ability to obtain DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
