POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides and documents preventive and corrective maintenance on medical equipment. Complies with UH, departmental and section policies and procedures. Uses and cares for equipment and supplies properly. Maintains professional working relations with customers, staff, and contractors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology from a two-year college, technical school or equivalent experience is required. One year experience in a hospital biomedical engineering department or full service biomedical equipment service company is preferred.
