Civil Engineering Technician

Starting Wage: $24-$30/per hour Depending on Experience
Job Type: Full-Time position
Number of Hours: 30-40+ hours/week

Job Overview:
CMG Engineering, Inc. is searching for an Engineering Technician to perform various test methods on Concrete, Soils and Asphalt materials. This position has a high growth potential with NO REQUIRED PREVIOUS EXPIERENCE as CMG does on the job training.
CMG had been in business since 2005 and is an AMRL Accredited Laboratory located in Kalispell, MT. We have worked on many Federal Highway projects both in Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks and many other construction jobs in NW Montana including Montana's Commercial, Municipal, FAA, MDOT, USBR and USFS projects. Civil Engineering Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform various test methods on Concrete, Soils and Asphalts.
Driving to and from job sites.
Communicating with clients regarding test results.
Taking care of testing equipment and vehicles.
Potentially performing testing outside of the Flathead Valley, such as Yellowstone National Park. (You will be provided with living quarters and paid Per Diem to cover living expenses)
Technicians will be encouraged to develop certifications with NICET and ACI.

Must be able to lift 20lbs or more

Must be dependable
Construction Experience is beneficial
