Expected hourly re between $38.46 to $44.95, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
Constellion New Energy is seeking a candide to fill a position of Stionary Engineer one of our plant facilities. This role will be responsible for the operion and maintenance of eight Cleaver Brooks 400 & 500 HP boilers and associed equipment our customer's facility loced in Frederick, Maryland.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Maintain & monitor safe working conditions identifies, corrects, and reports unsafe work areas, enforces safety compliance.
- Opere assigned plants as a Stionary Engineer in compliance with published Company opering and safety policies/procedures.
- Act as sole Constellion representive onsite customer's facility. Maintain customer relionships with all customers served by assigned plants
- Monitor assigned plant operions through various controls systems/technologies.
- Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situions
- Responds to dynamic 24/7 business environment via availability to work odd hours including periodic holidays and weekends throughout the year regarding changing plant conditions and risks.
- Compliance and Regulory Obligions: Ensure all project obligions are successfully administered and regulory requirements are met.
- Assure the safe, efficient, and continuous commodity supply to meet system demands.
- Ensure wer quality assigned plants by executing prescribed wer management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry.
- Opere, maintain, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment, including Cleaver-Brooks Package Boilers.
- Cree, maintain, and follow up on work orders for equipment repairs, documenting all maintenance activities and outcomes.
- Implement Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures by identifying energy sources, applying effective lockout measures, and completing all required documention.
- Participe in and complete all required training to comply with company safety and opering policies.
- Demonstre working knowledge of fire-tube boiler operions, combustion processes, feedwer systems, and nural gas combustion hazards.
Minimum Qualificions
- High school Diploma or GED
- 5-years of boiler opering experience, or an equivalent combinion of educion and relevant experience
- Grade 1 Maryland Stionary Engineer license or ability to obtain one in a specified time frame
- Possession of a Federal Security Clearance (HSPD-12 minimum) or eligibility to obtain one
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including working with switching up to 480 volts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applicions including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to define problems, research, collect da, establish facts, identify root cause, maintain confidentiality, analyze da, and draw valid conclusions/recommendions
- Strong knowledge of customer service procedures, principles, interpersonal skills and strong communicion
- Demonstred experience as a highly motived self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- Ability to work in a confined space and various heights
- Available to respond as needed in emergency situions
Preferred Qualificions
- Instrumention and Controls (I&C) Experience
- 5-years experience in opering Cleaver Brooks Package Boiler
- Experience in production facilities with a focus on boiler wer chemistry and associed systems
- Knowledge of CB Hawk, Schneider Electric, or similar opering systems
- Prior experience with the operion of centrifugal chillers and HVAC-reled equipment
