Senior Systems Engineer

G ovCIO is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to provide administrion and tier-3 operional support for servers, workstions, and applicions in a Windows Active Directory environment. This position will be loced in Merrifield, VA, and will be a fully onsite position.

Provides administrion and tier 3 operional support for servers, workstions, and applicions in a Windows Active Directory environment, including user account management, Group Policy troubleshooting, and security infrastructure maintenance. Responsibilities include server and backup administrion, SCCM and McAfee ePO management, and supporting large-scale deployments and migrions. Develops technical solutions, maintains documention, and ensures compliance with organizional standards for security and system performance.

Additional Azure administror role:

• In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of cloud computing services, which includes knowing networking, servers, dabases, and software in the cloud
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365.
• Expertise PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM temples for deployments, updes, and maintenance tasks
• Running virtual machines on the cloud
• Creing and managing da backups
• Ensuring compliances
• Configuring archival storage
• Experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Applicion Insights
• Familiar with Azure Policy and RBAC
• Maintaining and implementing storage solutions
• Securing Azure solutions
• Thorough knowledge of networking tasks along with expertise in the Azure networking stack
• Reducing vulnerabilities in Azure

Bachelor's with 12+ years administrion and tier 3 operional support for servers, workstions, and applicions in a Windows Active Directory environment (or commensure experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of CommVault backup.

• Must have a current REAL ID to be able to obtain required customer facility and system access
