You will lead high-visibility, moderately complex projects aligned with key business priorities, serving as a trusted subject matter expert across the full project lifecycle. In this role, youll bring deep expertise in project execution, including scope definition, risk management, methodology selection, resource planning, and operational setup.
You will maintain full ownership of project outcomesensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with quality, safety, and customer expectations. Youll regularly engage with senior leadership and clients, presenting project status, milestones, and performance insights with clarity and confidence.
Additionally, you may manage and optimize vendor partnerships throughout installation phases, ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance excellence. Your leadership will ensure projects are successfully executed and closed with precision, meeting all scope and compliance requirements.
How Youll Make an ImpactAs a Project Manager, you will drive the successful delivery of fire alarm, security, and communications system projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial environmentsserving as a key ambassador of the organization in all client and architect/engineer interactions.
You will:
Lead end-to-end project executionfrom initial design and permitting through procurement, labor coordination, and field installation
Build and manage comprehensive project plans that align schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Facilitate Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews to proactively manage risk, cost, and timeline performance
Ensure full compliance with all industry codes, standards, AHJ requirements, and internal (SOX) processes
Act as a central communication hub, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders
Drive financial performance by managing change orders and continuously identifying margin improvement opportunities
Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and accountability across all project stakeholders
3+ years of project management experience within fire protection, electrical systems, construction, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proven ability to interpret and work from complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with a consistent track record of meeting critical deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage both internal teams and external clients
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building tracking tools, leveraging cross-sheet data, and developing macros
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in cross-functional team environments
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
Working knowledge of applicable building codes, industry standards, and Underwriters requirements
NICET Level II certification or higher

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,500 to $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
