We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (PE) to be an integral part of our full-service design team. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and vendors to bring exceptional designs to life across a variety of marketsincluding office buildings, schools, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, and retail spaces.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor mechanical design staff throughout all project phases, from concept to construction administration.
  • Develop and manage HVAC and plumbing systems, drawings, and specifications within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Perform load calculations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems using industry-standard software.
  • Select major system equipment and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure all mechanical designs align with company quality standards, energy codes, and project requirements.
  • Provide construction phase support by responding to contractor inquiries and ensuring constructability of design solutions.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
  • Active Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) License .
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in building mechanical systems design.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and energy efficiency requirements.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, and energy modeling tools such as Carrier HAP (or equivalent).
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and maintain positive client relationships.
