Senior Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of project management and architectural experience, executing all phases of industrial and manufacturing projects
  • Strong experience with design and delivery of industrial buildings such as warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and specification writing software (Masterspec, BSD SpecLink)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including formal client presentations and team mentoring
  • Excellent organizational and financial management abilities
  • Working knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines
  • Professional Architectural or Engineering licensure preferred

Senior Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple industrial projects from concept through construction administration
  • Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Direct and mentor project teamscoordinating plans, specifications, and documentation
  • Serve as primary client contact, maintaining positive relationships and managing expectations
  • Develop project work plans, proposals, and schedules
  • Interface with authorities, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and constructability issues
  • Participate in business development, marketing efforts, and key office initiatives
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative environment focused on continual improvement and innovation
