Overview
A leading distributor of engineered industrial equipment is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer (Trainee) to join a structured 23 year development program. This role is designed to build both technical expertise and sales acumen, preparing individuals for long-term career opportunities within the organization.
Participants will complete a hands-on training program in Memphis, TN, gaining exposure to sales, customer service, and engineering functions before transitioning into a permanent role aligned with both business needs and individual strengths.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred (other degrees considered with strong technical aptitude)
Skills:
? Strong interest in solution-based selling
? Mechanical/technical aptitude
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

? Highly motivated and goal-oriented

Mobility:
? Must be willing to relocate to Memphis, TN for the first 2436 months

Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution: Meet weekly performance targets across order processing, lead generation, and customer engagement
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates within 2 hours of customer interactions
Technical Development: Participate in hands-on training, manufacturer sessions, and field ride-alongs
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience
