Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as a key technical leader, driving innovation and ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems and electrical architectures
• Perform system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate electrical and electro-mechanical designs
• Oversee hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and integrated components
• Drive packaging and integration efforts to ensure performance, durability, and manufacturability
• Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Analyze test data and drive design improvements and optimization efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers
• Support transition from development to production, including documentation and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Masters preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in electrical or electro-mechanical systems engineering
• Strong experience with system design, modeling, and testing methodologies
• Experience with electrical simulation and design tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and system validation
• Proven experience with Failure Analysis methodologies
