Systems Engineer (SETA)

Title:

KBR has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join an elite team providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services in Las Cruces, NM. The selected candidate will work multiple mission system projects and tasksfrom broad, strategic issues (e.g. policies, concept of operations, etc.) to tactical concerns (e.g., near-term schedules, testing, system integration and transition, etc.) to support vital operational missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Chief Engineer and government staff to execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) activities across customer site and work collaboratively with other customer organizations across the mission enterprise.

• Work with SE&I teams to execute site system engineering process; oversee site processes used to document and manage site baseline to accommodate evolving mission needs.

• Develop CONOPS for technical collection operations and management.

• Collaborate with System Program Offices (SPO), local operations teams, and other Government Agencies to integrate various GEOINT space missions into a ground-based architecture; ensure the delivering organization understands site integration needs and processes.

• Represent governments interests at various forums; provide analysis and recommendations to multiple government customers.

Work Environment:

• Location: LAS Cruce NM

• Travel Requirements: Occasional CONUS travel.

• Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required

• Bachelors degree in STEM-related discipline; Masters Degree preferred

• 0 5 years experience

• Demonstrated ability to serve as the integrating mechanism across the technical efforts related to the development, manufacturing, verification, deployment, operations, support, disposal of, and user training for systems and their life cycle processes

• Experience working with the community to prioritize, rank and task technical collection

• Experience in processing and exploiting technical intelligence and the production of intelligence products for dissemination to the community

• Experience in Source Selections

• Experience in the oversight of program cost, schedule, and performance
