Our ideal candidate must be in the EST time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in the DC Metro market Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a PVF Project Manager As a PVF (Pipes, Valves, and Fittings) Specialist at Ferguson, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering premier PVF solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for:
  • Product Expertise: Developing a deep knowledge of our PVF product line, including pipes, valves, fittings, and related components, to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborating with clients to understand their specific PVF needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical guidance to customers, including product specifications, installation instructions, and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Sales Growth: Actively contributing to sales growth by identifying opportunities, upselling products, and participating in business development efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs
  • Lead execution of project in accordance with organization's project management methodology according to established project plan
  • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
  • Coordinate the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
  • Supervise progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
  • Prioritize resources and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met
  • Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of proven experience in pipe, valves and fittings is preferred
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred, however, equivalent experience in pipe valves and fittings will be considered
  • Industry and product knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

Pay Range:

$5,525.00 - $8,825.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
