The Engineering Technician will apply process knowledge based on sound manufacturing fundamentals. Use strong leadership abilities with innovation to develop and maintain “Best in Class” products and processes for Avalign customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create ECR's for new or revised product drawings and specifications.
  • Create and maintain product models to meet manufacturing requirements and production processes.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing prints to support excessive material requirements for production processes.
  • Detail and maintain templates/routers to meet customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Create and maintain set up sheets for new and existing processes and programs.
  • Manage and update DMR prints in electronic data base for production documents.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvement strategies.
  • Assist in the selection of tooling requirements for processing new products.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Education and/or Experience: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Technical Degree preferred
  • Solid modeling experience a plus
  • A strong understanding of Good Documentation and Manufacturing Processes and procedures to create a quality product.
  • Must be willing to learn programming, software systems and inspection techniques to ensure NGI remains "Best in Class".
  • Experience with continuous process improvements through LEAN concepts, Visual Management Systems, Kanban, and cross-training.
  • Organized, quality-minded attitude and determination to be “Best in Class”.
  • Willing to lead by example and learn NGI processes and procedures.
  • Working knowledge, operation, and maintenance of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, etc.).
