The role is in the Regulatory Projects team within Danske Bank's BCPM (Business Controls and Product Management), BRT (Business Risk Transformation) unit. We operate across the entire Group and lead transformational regulatory projects and programmes with broad impact, ensuring regulatory initiatives are executed efficiently, implemented effectively and embedded across the organisation.
You will join the Regulatory Projects team as a Project Manager. Initially, you will become an integral part of one of the team's larger programmes, taking independent responsibility for leading of one of the programme's workstreams.
The position will be based in Poland or Lithuania. You will work closely with the Programme Manager, other team members and senior stakeholders across multiple locations, requiring a high degree of independence.
Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3-4 days in the office).
This role does not include a relocation allowance.
You will:
Own and drive delivery of an end-to-end programme stream, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements
Define, maintain and deliver the stream scope, objectives, roadmap, and milestones in line with strategic direction and programme priorities
Coordinate and align activities across business units, technology organisation, and internal operational working groups within the stream, managing interdependencies and resolving execution blockers
Ensure stream level compliance with relevant EU regulations, local regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governing information (e.g. company policies)
Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues
Prepare and deliver consolidated status, risk, and dependency reporting for the stream
Conduct comprehensive impact assessments, develop transition strategies, and ensure system readiness in line with strategic direction
Develop, maintain, and store all relevant stream documentation
Plan and execute coherent communication and change management activities
About you:
- At least 3 years' work experience in consultancy, project management, or similar roles, involving delivery of complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across functions, seniority levels and markets
- Solid organisational change management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex challenges and issues in a clear and simple way to diverse audiences
- Problem solving and analytical skills with strong business acumen
- A structured approach, with the ability to take ownership and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
- Strong personal drive, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead activities forward while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- An understanding of risk, with the ability to identify key delivery and implementation risks early and apply sound judgement to support effective decision-making
- Experience with project management and implementation in financial services or banking, and an understanding of the Nordic market, is preferred
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.

This position can be located both in Lithuania and Poland. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 3280 to 4920 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
