Lab Engineer, Logistics

As a Lab Engineer, Logistics, your primary responsibility will be to oversee logistics operations, including the management of incoming and outgoing materials, and ensure smooth warehouse processes. • Manage internal and external logistics, including material procurement, distribution, and coordination with vendors and carriers.
• Handle warehouse operations, including use of material automation systems and forklift for efficient material handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in relevant tools (e.g., inventory systems, Jira).
• Monitor stock levels, perform regular audits, and ensure availability of materials.
• Contribute to process improvement, while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.

Must-have:

• 2+ years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in both Finnish and English (written and spoken).
• Forklift experience operating material handling equipment is an asset.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes as required.
