Overview

Position SummaryThe Project Manager will support the Baptist Cancer Center leadership team in implementing the MidSouth Miracle program across all BMHCC sites. This role serves as a key liaison between sites, provides administrative and operational support, and assists with oncology research initiatives aligned with program goals. Occasional travel is required. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Cancer Center leadership to develop, implement, and enhance lung cancer care delivery modelsCollaborate with multiple sites to identify gaps, challenges, and progress toward organizational goalsPrepare agendas, presentations, and facilitate meetings with stakeholdersIdentify barriers to program execution and lead cross-functional solutionsSupport strategic planning efforts with system and site leadershipServe as a resource to educate staff on MidSouth Miracle program initiativesMaintain accurate tracking of program data, site resources, and structuresManage and distribute monthly performance and operational reportsAssist with financial projections, budgeting, and sustainability planningParticipate in grant writing and research protocol development activitiesMinimum QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree or higher requiredExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, research, business, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree5+ years of experience in healthcare, research, or project managementOncology and/or project management experience strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organizational and project coordination abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of healthcare operations, compliance, and industry trendsAbility to build collaborative partnerships across departmentsLicensure / RequirementsValid driver's license requiredWork Environment & Physical RequirementsMedium physical demand levelFrequent standing and walking; occasional sittingAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weightExposure to healthcare environments, including potential biological and environmental hazardsAdditional InformationThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilitiesOccasional travel required
