Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
- 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing or development management.
- 8 years of experience in people management.
- Experience supporting or leading multiple projects and managing engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Product Engineering for hardware technology and systems.
- Ability to work, influence, and resolve conflicts cross-functionally with internal/external partners.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead a team, defining priorities that support organizational goals. Meet with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze/understand failure to resolve issues.
- Lead the team in run-the-business activities, ensuring contract manufacturers meet quality and On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals, and directing Product Health Reviews to drive continuous improvement across key performance metrics (e.g., yield, capacity, NPI transition).
- Partner with NPI leadership to integrate sustaining team insights into the manufacturing plan,
Design for Excellence (DFx), and test strategy, and collaborate on risk mitigation to ensure predictable and scalable mass production. - Partner with Quality leaders to achieve product quality and reliability goals, guiding and validating product qualification plans and results.
