Job Summary
Designs and develops responsive React.js frontends and AI-powered workflows using LangGraph and the OpenAI SDK. Works closely with product teams, designers, and senior engineers to deliver scalable web applications and generative UI experiences across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal teams to translate design concepts into responsive React.js applications while contributing to AI-powered features, LangGraph-based pipelines, and OpenAI SDK integrations

  • Architect, build, and maintain modular React components and reusable AI agent workflows, adhering to TDD, domain-driven design, and coding best practices across both UI and AI disciplines

  • Develop and integrate Generative UI experiences, dynamically rendering React components driven by LLM outputs to deliver adaptive, context-aware user interfaces

  • Influence UX designers to achieve optimal, incremental designs that accommodate both traditional UI patterns and AI-driven interaction models, keeping short sprints in consideration

  • Accountable for unit and automation tests with Cypress across frontend and AI workflow logic, and build and deploy modules using GitHub Actions in a DevOps environment

  • Maintain and enhance SPAs, mono-repos, micro-frontends, and frontend tooling while ensuring AI features are performant, reliable, and seamlessly embedded in the broader application

  • Break down complex features spanning UI and AI into well-scoped development tasks, troubleshoot production issues across both layers, and drive quic k resolutions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development delivering scalable, high-performance web applications, with hands-on exposure to AI-powered application development

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

  • Proven experience as a React.js Developer with proficiency in React Router, Babel, NPM, Webpack, and core principles including state management, functional components, hooks, and virtual DOM manipulation; strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Flexbox, and CSS Grid in large-scale enterprise applications

  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Jest, and Cypress/Playwright for testing and type safety; working knowledge of CSS pre-processors like SASS/LESS; Storybook is a bonus

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, including integrating with and validating API behavior, alongside good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD practices, and modern frontend build tools and workflows

  • Hands-on experience or strong foundational knowledge of Python for building AI-powered applications, with familiarity with the OpenAI SDK including prompt construction, tool/function calling, and response handling

  • Experience with LangGraph for building stateful, multi-step AI agent workflows, and understanding of Generative UI patterns for dynamically rendering React components driven by LLM outputs

  • Ability to integrate AI capabilities into React frontends, including streaming responses, tool-use results, and LLM-generated component trees, with familiarity in prompt engineering best practices for reliable LLM output

  • Proficient in leveraging AI-powered developer tools to accelerate both UI and AI development workflows

  • Nice to have experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, or the broader LangChain ecosystem

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 109,000 - 163,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
