Wastewater Engineer

We're looking for a mid to senior -level Wastewater Engineer to join our team in St. Charles, IL!!

Description

• Design calculations, specifications, models, cost estimates, project schedules for municipal water and wastewater systems
• Conduct water and sewer hydraulic modeling and master planning
• Design of municipal water distribution systems, wastewater collections systems, and storm sewers (including pipelines, pumping stations, meters, and structures)
• Perform analysis and design for pump and lift stations
• Conduct construction administration and periodic inspection during construction of water / wastewater facilities
• Planning, design and construction of public water supply, treatment, storage and distribution systems, Municipal wastewater collection systems and pump station, Wastewater treatment systems including BNR processes and sludge handling facilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a wastewater engineer
• Ability to obtain PE within a year
• Experience in construction observation and supervision/management of field personnel
• Experience in environmental permitting, funding and regulatory requirements
• Ability to conduct design specs for various aspects of water treatment plans and their pieces of equipment
• Strong communication skills and well organized
• Must have a strong background in master planning, utility infrastructure rehabilitation, public water supply and/or wastewater treatment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
