We are seeking innovative pulsed-power engineers with a focus on commercial applications. Candidates should have a background in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities Include:
Collaborating with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers to develop advanced pulsed-power systems.Using simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, CST, SPICE, Screamer, FLASH, LS-DYNA) for circuit, electromagnetic, and multi-physics simulations.Modeling hydrodynamic and solid-matter interfaces and scaling pulsed-power systems.Designing high-temperature, long-lifetime, high-reliability pulsed-power systems.Developing PCBs and advanced high-temperature electronics.Presenting work at design reviews, managing schedules, and tracking project costs.Conducting theoretical and experimental analysis.Documenting results, failures, and corrective actions.Writing technical proposals.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field (B.S. considered with sufficient experience).5-10+ years of experience in pulsed-power projects.Experience in research, development, or prototyping environments.Experience writing proposals for competitive solicitations.
Desired Qualifications:
20+ years of experience in pulsed power or related projects for government or industry.Expertise in experimental electrical engineering or applied physics.Master's or Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
